Definitely cool to have a site dedicated to the Rivers! Was onboard from Jan '88 to Dec '89, SN(SS). Left for Hospital Corps School but have never forgotten the great times I had onboard. If anyone has news of Roger Jolley (Doc) would love to hear from him. Currently still in, finally made HMC and am in charge of 1st Tank Battalion Aid Station in 29 Palms, CA.

My first nukeÂ?... abundant power and maneuverability, fantastic propulsion, sonar & weapons systems, no need to snorkel daily, showers at seaÂ?.... The list goes on and on. What an honor to serve with wonderful shipmates on an incredible submarine!
